The Mark I BioAmerica Mini Centrifuge is ideal for
microfiltration, cell separation and quick spin down from walls and caps of
microtubes in training and research laboratories of universities, hospitals and
scientific research institutions.
The Mark I BioAmerica Mini Centrifuge is supplied with rotor
heads and adapters to accommodate 0.2ml, 0.5ml and 1.5ml tubes. The Mark I
BioAmerica Mini Centrifuge has two rotor heads, one for microtubes and one for
0.2ml PCR strips and individual tubes. The 6 X 1.5ml rotor head is designed to
centrifuge up to six individual 1.5ml plastic microtubes. It will also accept
0.2ml and 0.5ml tubes with the adapters supplied with the apparatus. The strip
tube rotor head is designed to centrifuge two lines of 8 X 0.2ml PCR strips
tubes and it will also accept up to 16 individual 0.2ml tubes. The standard and
strip tube rotor heads are easily interchangeable.
The translucent lid pivots
on a durable stainless steel hinge pin. Pressing on the reinforced tab on the
front of the apparatus releases the lid. A switch on the side of the mini
centrifuge starts and stops the run.
